Sunshine Matriarch Earrings
Woven to evoke ancestral strength in the wearer. A simple Ravenstail pattern twined with a merino/silk-blend weft lines the bottom edge of 1″ matte black rings upon 1.5″ warp ends. Over time the warp ends will begin to fray, leaving the earrings to transform into fluffy, matured, bolder versions of themselves — tiny little matriarchs.
Twined to accompany ceremonial regalia or offer an aura of regality, indigenous and non-indigenous folk are welcome and encouraged to adorn themselves in Native-made ceremonial garb such as these earrings. These adornments are not just infused with bougie glamour but ancestral tradition and strength.
These earrings are woven following the Ravenstail tradition and have a front and back.

If warp ends take on a life of their own and begin “tweaking out”, simply dampen them with a touch of water and hang or lie the earrings in place to dry.
